DRISHTI

This Privacy Policy explains how DRISHTI ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App. DRISHTI is developed and operated by an independent developer based in India.

Information We Collect

DRISHTI is designed to minimize data collection. The following information is processed only as necessary to provide readings:

• Reading inputs: Name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender, and any questions you type are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your reading. We do not store this information on our servers — readings are generated on-demand and saved only on your own device.
• Photographs: If you use Palmistry, Tea Leaf Reading, or Face Reading, photographs you capture are sent to our AI provider for analysis and are not retained by us after the reading is generated. Photographs are not uploaded to any server we control beyond the AI provider's processing.
• Location search: For Vedic Astrology's place-of-birth field, your typed search queries are sent to Google Places API to provide city suggestions. We do not store your location history.
• Purchase information: If you purchase credits, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Locally stored data: Your reading history, saved readings, credit balance, and language preference are stored only on your own device using standard iOS local storage. This data is not transmitted to us and is deleted if you uninstall the App or clear app data.

How We Use Information

Information you provide is used exclusively to:

• Generate your requested divination reading via our AI provider
• Provide location autocomplete suggestions
• Process in-app credit purchases through Apple's systems

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

DRISHTI relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes reading inputs and photographs to generate readings. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Google Places API: Processes location search queries for the place-of-birth feature. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple In-App Purchase: Processes all credit pack purchases. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Security

Reading history, saved readings, and credit balances are stored locally on your device only. We do not operate a server that retains your personal reading data. Because data lives on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing its storage will permanently delete this information.

Children's Privacy

DRISHTI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since DRISHTI does not retain personal data on our servers, most data control happens directly on your device — you can clear your reading history at any time from the Settings screen within the App, or delete the App entirely to remove all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
